Rashford Unimpressed With Current Contract Situation At United

Marcus Rashford has hit out at reports he is set to sign a new Manchester United contract with a club-record £400,000-a-week salary.The England international is in the final six months of his contract but manager Erik ten Hag has already confirmed that United plan to trigger the one-year extension clause in his deal to avoid losing Rashford for free.Amid rumours that Paris Saint-Germain could make a move for Rashford, the Daily Star claimed that United are set to offer the 25-year-old a mammoth new contract with the highest wage in the club’s history to convince him to stay.

The reports found their way to Rashford, who was thoroughly unimpressed.”Can we please stop making up these stories?” he wrote on Twitter. “Mine and the club;s objectives are to hopefully get into the Champions League this season.
