Controversial singer Portable, with Habeeb Okikiola as his government name, rejoices as Davido, Afrobeats superstar, songwriter and record producer follows him again on Instagram.

The Afrobeats superstar had earlier un-followed Portable after the two had been caught in a bit of a political squabble following the 2022 Osun gubernatorial election. Davido had as expected supported his uncle, Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) camp, who eventually won the election, while Portable on the other hand, was rooting for the ruling party All Progressive Congress’ (APC) Governor Gboyega Oyetola, as a hired campaigner.

And in a bid to solidify his campaign, the ‘Zazzoo Zeh’ crooner had called out Davido which had allegedly led to Davido un-following him on Instagram. However, after being instructed to apologize to Davido by the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, Olabode Thomas-Fagbayi, He had tendered an apology via Instagram which read; “Accept your pass without regrets handle your present with confidence face your future without fear…Akoi apologies to @davido. We no get any issue. Akoi loyalty. Won ti settle eh.”

Davido followed him again after he released “Azaman”– a cover of Asake’s hit single ‘Organise’ and made a supportive comment “Goin” about the cover, which was cause for celebration for Portable and thanking Davido, he wrote; “If you want to shine like a sun fist burn like a sun @davido Dõn follow me back Aza Man Aza Man Every Other Days is Aza Manany disappointment is a blessing another day another blessings #AzaMan.”
