Chelsea are currently in the hunt for another winger after missing out on Raphinha. According to reports England and Everton winger Gordon is seriously being considered at Chelsea and further reports also states that a bid in the region of around £40 million has already been submitted for the 21 year old but Everton’s valuation of the player seems to be much higher than Chelsea’s £40 million bid.
An improved bid for the player is already being considered by the Chelsea hierarchy. Everton’s manager Frank Lampard is also considering a player plus cash deal as he looks forward to adding more than one Chelsea player to his squad. Everton has already lost their first two games of the season so selling one of their best player in Anthony Gordon doesn’t look likely at the moment given the fact that Frank Lampard would be looking to add more quality to his team rather than reducing it.
