The family of the Oscar Award winning Actor, Jamie Foxx prepares for the worst scenario as he has remained in hospital following the incident which happened on the set of his upcoming movie.
The 55 year old Jamie’s family and friends are reportedly “hoping for the best but preparing for the worst” as the Hollywood actor remains hospitalised following a health crisis said Jamie’s daughter.
The actor was rushed to hospital due to a medical complication while working on his upcoming Netflix feature, Back In Action, alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.
His daughter Corinne shared an Instagram statement about the health scare last month, writing: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the statement read in addition. “The family asks for privacy during this time.”
Last week, Jamie’s condition was said to have improved, with sources claiming doctors are doing more tests before allowing him to leave and have advised him to “keep his stress level down”.
“Jamie is stable and not in a life-threatening situation now,” the source told People. “[Doctors] are doing more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be okay before allowing him to leave the hospital.”
Although Jamie is “healing” and “feeling the love” from all of his supporters and well wishers, details on the situation have remained undisclosed.
According to a source, he’s “doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems,” but he “wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK.”
They added that Jamie’s recovery has been “touch and go” and at one stage he “had to be revived” by emergency room physicians who saved the actor. “He is very lucky to be alive!” said the source.
