Xavi In Trouble, As Barcelona In Danger Of Dropping Into Europa League

Inter Milan and Barcelona faced each other in the Champions League yesterday with the latter emerging as 1-0 victors on the night. Xavi’s men came close to taking the lead in the first half but none of their created chances was able to find the back of the net as the home team later went on to take the lead through Hakan Calhanoglu

strike few minutes to the end of the first half. The Catalan giants fought back in the second half but still couldn’t do enough to overturn the score line as the game ended 1-0 in favor of Inter Milan. Xavi Hernandez has recently expressed his worries following his teams defeat to Inter Milan, according to Xavi “the first half was not good enough for a champions League

game. We have to be more dynamic, quicker and have better ball circulation. Now we are left in an uncomfortable situation. We have three games left, all finals, and two at home. I am worried about the defeat because we have three points, Inter six and Bayern nine. We are in a difficult position and we can’t slip up again”.
