In 2023, Nigerian megastar Wizkid is scheduled to give a historic performance at London Stadium.
As part of his “More Love, Less Ego” tour, Wizkid has announced that his performance at London Stadium on June 1, 2023, will take place.
The exhibition will see the megastar become the principal African to perform at the 80,000-limit ground which right now fills in as the home of head association side West Ham Joined together.
On eleventh November 2022, Wizkid delivered his fifth studio collection ‘More Love, Less Self image’ and he followed it up with his 2023 event dates that will start off with shows in America and Canada.
More recently, Wizkid performed to sold-out crowds at the 20,000-seat Zigo Dome in the Netherlands, where he performed a selection of his greatest hits.
While Wizkid is yet to officially announce the date for his London stadium show, he gave a hint via his social media page.The show’s ticket, which says it will take place on June 1, 2023, is already available online.
Following Burna Boy’s earlier announcement that he will perform at the stadium on June 3, 2023, Wizkid will also perform at the London stadium.
Fans have reacted to Wizkid’s decision to air his show just two days before Burna Boy’s show, given that the two of them had an online argument days before Wizkid released “More Love, Less Ego.”
In any case, another high point for Afrobeats is the possibility of two Afrobeats megastars selling out the 80,000-capacity London stadium in three days.
