Mariah Carey Sets A New Billboard Record,With Her Hit Holiday Single ”All I Want For Christmas Is You”

Mariah Carey has broken another Bulletin record as her hit occasion melody All I Need For Christmas Is You gets back to the best position for the fourth year straight, only days subsequent to garnish the UK outlines for the second time of all time.

The song from 1994 has been at number one on the Hot 100 for nine weeks, making it the first song to do so four times in a row.

The catchy song first reached the top spot on the Hot 100 in 2019, and it did so again in 2020. In 2021, it made another appearance, and in 2022, it will make another appearance.

In addition, the festive song has the longest period of time between a song’s first week at number one on the Hot 100—three years—from December 2019 to December 2022.

The new number one spot also extends Mariah’s record for the longest period of time an artist has occupied the top spot on the chart, which dates back to her first week in 1990 with her debut single Vision of Love and spans over 32 years.

The news comes just a few days after Carey returned to the top spot in the UK with the smash hit on Friday.

The festive song has only seen the singer reach the top of the UK singles chart once before, in 2020, 26 years after its release.

With her single “Anti-Hero,” Mariah ended Taylor Swift’s six-week reign as the number one female artist.
