
Following an injury sustained in the Champions League second leg at Sansiro against Italian Champions AC Milan, Chelsea’s England sensation Reece James has taken to Twitter to react to claims he could miss next months World Cup tournament in Qatar. The highly talented right-back who is a constant menace to many wingers and attackers has recently joined the injury list of players at Chelsea after a collision with Portuguese rising star Rafael Leao at Sansiro. The AC Milan wonder boy is amongst the players Chelsea have plans to buy during the summer transfer window. Rafael Leao after playing against James for the first time admitted that Reece James is the toughest defender he has ever faced. James took to his Twitter account to reveal that he is currently doing his best to be back on time for the world cup in Qatar next month. James Tweeted: “The race against time is on, but we won’t give up”. Earlier reports had suggested that James is supposed to be out for up to eight weeks so it will be interesting to see how fast he recovers to make it in time for the World Cup next month.
