Former AC Milan defender and current director Paolo Maldini in a recent interview with Sky talked about the contract situation and future of three of Milan’s players. According to the legendary defender “ we are now in talks to extend the contacts of Ismael Bennacer, Pierre Kalulu and Rafa Leao. We want them to stay, it’s up to the players. We turned down Chelsea’s verbal bid for Leao”. Chelsea might have been handed a huge blow in their pursuit of Rafa Leao who the club sees as a major target for next season.
