August 14th 2022 saw two Premier League heavy weights clash in a London derby. Chelsea and Tottenham produced one of the most entertaining football matches over the weekend as there were lots of drama in the game. One thing fans didn’t fail to notice was the rift between Tottenham’s Antonio Conte and Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel. Both managers clearly weren’t the best of friends as both of them continually clashed during the game in a bid to defend their various teams, Conte who spoke to the press about his former employers was quick to praise the quality of his former team and how dangerous they can be, however, things didn’t get off so we’ll between Conte and his German counterpart as both of them continually clashed during the game and eventually got red carded for their troubles.

After the game, Conte was quick to express himself on his Instagram page, in a reaction to a picture which showed Tuchel running towards Conte’s own side of the field while celebrating Reece James goal which put Chelsea ahead at the time, Conte wrote “lucky I didn’t see you…making you trip over would have been well deserved…”. Tottenham failed to score a single goal last season against Chelsea and have also failed to get a win against Chelsea in their last seven meetings, the draw on Sunday put an end to a run of losing streak against Chelsea and would serve as a big motivation for the Tottenham players who clearly were far from their best against their London neighbors.
