There is increased tension at Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Port Harcourt as students were seen on the early hours of Tuesday May 9, carrying out a protest.
According to some of the the students who pleaded anonymous, they claimed that the protest was raised as a result of the late notice of the school to the students on the removal of HND Business Administration after students paid for school fees, came to classes, and wrote exams.
The presence of armed police men were also seen at the school gate.
“The School Management told students who have already done their admission clearance and are writing exams to go home, that their admission was fake and unapproved.” A studentg lamented.
