According to reports from Daily Mail Manchester United’s Portuguese talisman Christiano Ronaldo has asked the club to terminate his contract in a bid to force his way out of the club.
The 37 year old who missed the club’s entire pre-season tour in Thailand and Australia, finally arrived the club on Tuesday with his agent Jorge Mendes to still drive home the fact that he has no intention of staying at Old Trafford for another year.
In an attempt to keep Ronaldo at the club Manchester United have made it clear to Ronaldo that they have no intentions of selling him even though they are yet to receive any offers for him from other clubs. The discussions between United and Ronaldo’s representatives have also failed to convince the five time Balon d’or winner to stay put at United for another season.
Ronaldo recently underwent a medical test and then went ahead to train on Wednesday before watching his current teammates in a behind closed doors friendly match against Wrexam.
