Reason For Shutting Down Batch B Registration Portal – NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has shut down the registration portal for Batch B prospective corps members, citing a glitch that occurred on Saturday, June 8.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, “The management of NYSC wishes to inform prospective corps members that the registration portal was shut down due to a glitch that occurred on Saturday, 8th June, 2024.

 

Megwa apologized to prospective corps members who could not register before the portal was shut down, assuring them that the portal will reopen for Batch B Stream II on a date to be announced later.

The NYSC also debunked a fake press release circulating online, which claimed that the registration deadline had been extended.

The statement warned that anyone caught issuing or sharing false information about NYSC operations would be handed over to law enforcement agents for prosecution.

The portal will reopen for 2024 Batch B Stream II on a date to be announced later.
