In a bid to ensure that the Osun State Governorship elections are indeed free and fair, and of course void of vote buying, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have been spotted in various polling units across the state.
According to reports from The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), personnel were seen moving around the polling units and observing proceedings as voters took turn to get accreditation and cast their votes.
So far, EFCC personnel have been spotted at ward 2 unit 9, Ede North, ward 4 unit 1, and ward 5 unit 1, taking strategic positions and observing the ongoing elections.
NAN reports that the anti-graft agency is waging war against vote buying and inducement, in order to ensure that the electorate vote for their choices in the election.
