Only God Can Stop Wike, Fubara’s Political Feud – Shehu Sani

Folowing the lingering political tussle between the Governor Rivers State, Sim Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, the former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has said only God can resolve the crisis.

Speaking on the development in a statement via his verified X handle on Tuesday, July 9, Sani said, “Rivers State has been left in the hands of God to solve the problem.”

Recall that Rivers State has come under intense political crisis since Governor Fubara assumed office.

Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike are fighting over who exerts political control in the state.

The crisis has led to the emergence of two parallel speakers, Martin Amaewhule and Victor Oko-Jumbo.

President Bola Tinubu’s earlier intervention did not yield the expected result, as the political supporters of the two parties continue to engage tantrums.
