Natalia Bryant, the oldest daughter of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, has been granted legal protection from an alleged stalker who, Natalia claims, poses a significant threat to her safety.
A Los Angeles court issued the order on December 14 after Natalia disclosed what 32-year-old Dwayne Kemp had done to put her in danger over the past few months.
She admitted to the court that she does not know Kemp and is terrified of what he can do whenever he appears. She described his actions as “unsettling” and claimed that he even offered to pay her eyebrow stylist for services she had completed.
Natalia was granted a three-year protective order by the judge, who was convinced that Kemp was dangerous. Kemp must now maintain a distance of at least 200 yards from Natalia’s home, job, car, school, and USC sorority house, as the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) required.
This comes just a few weeks after Natalia was given a TRO because she said Kemp was stalking her and that she thought they were in a relationship. At the time, she told the court that he first started contacting her when she was just 17 years old.
Natalia also said that Kemp loves guns. Pictures of him armed are included in her filing from social media. Additionally, it was discovered that he has been arrested and/or convicted of at least four offenses, one of which involved firearms.
Kemp is prohibited from possessing or purchasing firearms under the new 3-year order, and he has 24 hours to surrender any weapons he currently possesses.
