Military Defeats Known Bandit Commander And Another In Zamfara

Two terrorists were neutralized by troops executing a fighting patrol at the bandits’ hideout, according to members of Operation Haderin Daji, a unit of the Nigerian military, who claimed this on Thursday the 20th of October. Other terrorists fled with varying degrees of injury.
According to information obtained by DAILY POST, the offensive took place in Doka Village, Gando Forest, Anka Local Government Area, Zamfara State.

In a press release, Major General Musa Danmadami, the Director of Defence Media Operations, reported that while on patrol, troops encountered robbers and engaged them in a firefight.

Danmadami stated that Mr. Ibrahim Chire, a notorious bandit commander known for terrorizing the Gando, Gwashi, Bukkuyum, and Anka Local Government Areas of the State, was one of the neutralized terrorists during the operation.

He mentioned that among other things, the forces found an AK-47, four rounds of special 7.62mm ammunition, a motorcycle, and mobile phones.

The military high command, he claimed, had praised the soldiers who had participated in Operation HADARIN DAJI and had urged the people to provide the military with reliable and timely intelligence on criminal activity.
