Following Manchester United’s victory over Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur yesterday in the Premier League, a lot of football fans and pundits have taken to social media to react to the behavior of one of United’s legends before the end of game at Old Trafford. Cristiano Ronaldo was an unused substitute in yesterday’s game against Spurs but was unable to hide his frustrations for not being in the starting lineup once again this season, the Portuguese Star was seen warming up at some point but was later seen walking angrily down the tunnel few minutes before the end of the game. This behavior from Ronaldo has sparked so much reaction from fans with many thinking he is too proud. Reacting to that display of disrespect from the Portuguese, former Liverpool player and legend Steve Nicol have this to say about Ronaldo in an interview with ESPN: “He has to be very careful because for 15 years he has been number one and everybody has patted him on the back. But you know what?, When things are going well for you, it is dead easy to always do the right thing. The mark of anybody is when things are not going your way, how do you react?, We just saw how he reacted, and he better be very careful. He better get rid of acting like a big baby because he is going to harm his reputation if he continues to do that”.
