Liverpool faced Arsenal in the Premier League yesterday in a thrilling encounter at the Emirates with the Gunners emerging as 3-2 winners on the day. Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has come out to give reasons why his side lost to the Gunners on Sunday. According to the reds boss in an interview with BBC Sport “ a couple of things went against us. We created, we were really dangerous, we scored our goal,

wonderful goal. Then conceded in the last second of the first half. Obviously, we made a mistake, counter-attack is the goal. We wanted to carry on the good stuff but unfortunately, we couldn’t do that. We equalized, it was a really open game then. Regarding the situation around the penalty of course we should have cleared it.
A couple of things went against us but we are not blind, we see we could have done better in moments. We caused them a lot of problems but stand here with no points”. The loss means Liverpool is now 14 points behind the Gunners as they move further down the EPL table with a top-four finish now looking less likely. Can Jürgen Klopp turn the situation around for Liverpool and restore them back to winning ways? Well, only time will tell.
