Kepa Opens Up On His Decision To Remain At Chelsea.

After a big money move from Spanish side Athletic Bilbao to Chelsea which saw him become the most expensive goal keeper in the world, Kepa Arrizabalaga’s time in west London hasn’t really gone according to plan as he has had several performances for the blues which put a big question mark on the clubs decision to part ways with such a huge amount for the Spaniard. Currently at Chelsea a lot of persons have been left surprised at Kepa’s decision to remain at the Bridge given how inconsistent he has been with his performances. Recently in an interviewellarguero the Spaniardspoke on his decision to remain with the Blues. “I had Chances to leave Chelsea in the summer, there were things, but the club always gave me their trust, they always wanted me to be part of the squad. We analyzedit and I am happy to stay and be in this great club”. Kepa has had some great performances for Chelsea too as he was also instrumental in the clubs Super Cup success last two seasons, coming from the bench to make two penalty saves against Villarreal in the Super Cup final was really good moment to prove to Chelsea just why he is the world’s most expensive goal keeper. Kepa will be hoping to nail down a starting spot in first eleven of Chelsea this season given the departure of Tuchel and appointment of Potter, it remains to be seen if Potter gives him a chance impress more this season.
