Canadian singer and songwriter, Justin Drew Bieber has revealed that he has been recently diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare neurological disorder characterized by paralysis of the facial nerve (facial palsy) and a rash affecting the ear or mouth, this has caused half of his face to be paralysed.
Due to the recent diagnosis, he has been forced to cancel some shows amidst fans agitation; he made this know in a video which he posted on his verified Instagram page.
The singer said he was going to take this time out to rest and get back to a hundred percent and in his caption urged fans to put him in their prayers.

In the video, he said; “Hey everyone, I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on. As you can see from my place, I have this syndrome and it is this virus that attacks the facial nerves. As you can see, this eye is not blinking, I can’t smile on this side of my face, and this nostril is not moving.
“For those who are frustrated by my cancellation of next shows, I’m just physically not able to do. It is pretty serious. I wish this wasn’t the case. Obviously, my body is trying to tell me to slow down and get back to 100 per cent…”
“I love you guys. Thanks for being patient with me and make sure to pray for me,” he added.
