On Wednesday 2nd of November, the wife of the Commander of the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Apollos Dan-Daura, was abducted by terrorists.
According to the reports, Dan-Daura’s wife was abducted in the Shege area of Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, and although the details of the attack are still being accessed, the whereabouts of the victim are still unknown.
However, the commander’s younger brother who was present during the abduction was said to have been shot and is currently in an undisclosed hospital receiving treatment, Jerry Victor the Public Relations Officer of the Nasarawa State Command of the NSCDC said while confirming the incident to SaharaReporters.
The abductors have yet to make contact with the family to demand a ransom and the Nigeria Police Force has yet to speak on the incident.
