In Diss Track “Rap Is Dead,” Rapper Zilla Oaks Attacks Wizkid

Zilla Oak, a rapper, has released a brand-new track titled “Rap Is Dead” in response to Wizkid’s remarks about hip hop and Nigerian rappers.

Wizkid said in an interview with 10 Magazine UK that Hip Hop is dead and that he is tired of the same beat and delivery. Fans and rappers expressed their disapproval of the comment.

Rappers like YCEE, M.I., A-Q, Blaqbonez, and Oladips responded to the comments. Even though some people argued that Wizkid wasn’t referring to rappers from Nigeria, the megastar would later use his Snapchat to call Nigerian rappers broke and claim that Sarkodie, Nasty C, and Black Sherif were the only African rappers.

Zilla Oak takes over: Zilla Oaks said in a post on Wednesday, December 7, that it has been 72 hours after Wizkid challenged Nigerian rappers to release a diss track, no one has responded. He then gave a six-hour deadline for someone to step up or he would.

Zilla Oaks delivered on his promise when he released a diss track titled “Rap Is Dead” on September 7th. The song criticizes Wizkid, claiming that he was only targeting rappers to draw attention to his new album and could not compete with Burna Boy.

Zilla Oaks also mocked Wizkid for his famous line “She Tell Me Say” before proceeding to ask him which rapper he has assisted.
