If Elected, Tinubu Will Explore The Oil Fields In Jigawa. Gov. Badru

For the purpose of exploring the state’s crude oil deposit, Jigawa Governor Muhammad Badaru called on voters to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election.

During the APC governorship rally in Malammadori Local Government Area (LGA), Badaru addressed party supporters and stated that Sen. Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, would assist the state in the exploration of the Guri/MalamMadori oil fields.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the governor had stated on November 24 while addressing APC supporters in Gumel LGA that the state would begin the exploration of crude oil if Bola Tinubu won the presidential election.

According to the governor, the state was blessed with crude oil deposits that would be explored if the APC won the presidential election.

However, the governor criticized the alleged burning of the APC’s billboards and posters.

He went on to say that the state’s opposition parties would soon be able to tell “people’s chosen party, APC” from “despised parties” during the 2023 general elections.

He asserts that the state’s ruling APC has provided a level playing field for all parties.

“It is quite unfortunate, as the party in power we don’t destroy any party’s posters or billboard, but still some opposition parties are destroying ours.

“Strong party will not involve in any fighting or destruction of opponent’s properties but only shows the differences on election day,” Badaru said.

Alhaji Umar Namadi, the APC’s governorship candidate, also stated that the party had fulfilled the campaign promises made to the state’s residents in 2015. He pledged to build on Badaru’s accomplishments, particularly in agriculture, health, education, and water supply.

As a result, he urged people to support the APC at all levels in the upcoming general election in 2023.
