Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has recently admitted that he doesn’t know if his side will win the champions league this season in a pre-match press conference. The spaniards City team are regarded as one of the best teams in Europe and one of the favorites to win this seasons edition of the champions league, however ,Pep has remained humble and have refused to confirm his side as favorites even after acquiring the services of Eirling Halland from German side Borussia Dortmund during the summer. Speaking to the press ahead of City’s game against Spanish side Sevilla this evening, Pep claimed that he doesn’t know if his side will win the UEFA Champions League this season, he further stated that it all depends on his teams performance. Continuing Pep said “it depends on our performance. If it’s not good, then we will take punishment from the fans. I would love to have the story in Europe like Sevilla has. Man City is far away from what they have done in Europe. We are going to try again. Win it or not win it?, I don’t know”. Pep would be looking to kick start the campaign with a win away at Sevilla.
