According to reports Brighton’s Graham Potter has verbally agreed to become Chelsea’s next manager. After the brutal sacking of Thomas Tuchel in the early hours of Wednesday morning the club had approached Brighton to enquire about the possibility of getting their current manager, Brighton gave the go ahead for discussions to proceed between their coach and Chelsea as Chelsea see him as a long term replacement for the departed German tactician, Potter’s style of play has been quite impressive for some time now as the young English manager had been known to set up his teams to attack whilst also paying attention to defense so it will be interesting to see how much Potter can achieve with this current Chelsea squad who are lacking motivation at the moment. Potter’s Brighton currently sit fourth on the EPL table with an impressive 4 wins in six games, losing just once since the start of the season and drawing once.
