Gov. Zulum Urges Zamfara Citizens To Help Eradicate Insecurity

Professor Banbagana Zulum, the governor of Borno State, has pleaded with the people of Zamfara State to help with efforts to eradicate insecurity in the region.

In his opening remarks as the host of the 37th national Quranic recitation competition in Gusau, Zulum appealed and said that several state governments had inherited security issues.

Even the coronavirus pandemic, according to him, devastated both the overall economic structure of the nation as well as that of numerous states.

“It is also very clear that Governor Matawalle inherited the insecurity and had tried his best to address the insecurity situation,” he said.

Adding that the lack of proper Islamic education contributed to the increase in social vices, stressing that most crimes are perpetrated by youths.
