Gov. Wike Speaks On APC’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket

The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike has finally shared his view in regards to the All Progressive Congress’ (APC) Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket, according to him; politicians are using the debate to ‘distract electorates.’

He said this at the inauguration of the Rivers state house of assembly quarters, which was completed by his administration.

Further stating that; “The only problem I have is that even the electorates are being deceived; stories, Muslim-Muslim, Christian-Christian, native doctor-native doctor, this and that. Is that our problem now? At the appropriate time we talk politics. We need leadership to move this country forward”. He also reiterated his claim that he did not sue the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, over his emergence as the party’s flag bearer.”

Gov. Wike who had earlier been accused of taking the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar to court over his emergence as the party’s flagbearer further emphasized he did not.
