Following an accident involving a Toyota Hummer bus and a Hyundai jeep, the Federal Road Safety Corps has confirmed the deaths of 14 passengers who were burned to death along Gaya-Wudil road in Kano State.

He said that at about 7:45 p.m., road safety personnel arrived at the scene of the collision on the Kano-Gaya route in Rege Village by Antukuwani.
He explained that the collision occurred at around 7.30 p.m. on Sunday night and included a bus with the registration number GML 102 TA from Kano Line that was travelling from Gombe State.
He said, “Thirteen passengers were burnt to death on the spot with 6 others injured in the accident.”
It was gathered that one of the female passengers died on Monday morning at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital intensive care unit.
