Abubakar reiterated that the plan will not tolerate tardiness and will penalize any corps member who does so.

He stated that 27 additional individuals would have their service years extended by at least three weeks due to a variety of misconducts that occurred during their service years.

He claims that five of the 1,151 corps members who graduated will receive the state honor award for their outstanding contribution to improving host communities’ living conditions.

He added that the scheme sent a lot of corps medical personnel to the rural areas of Bauchi state in line with its goal of contributing to the country’s development.

He stated that the scheme’s Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers (HIRD) provided assistance to thousands of state residents in rural communities.

“I will like to urge the outgoing corps members to continue to be good ambassadors of the scheme and also maximise the skills acquisition and entrepreneurship learnt during their service year,” he said.
