Chelsea and Ivory coast legend Didier Drogba has been left impressed with Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen for his Unselfishness during Napoli’s game against Ajax in October. During the game a Ajax, Napoli were awarded a penalty which Osimhen was supposed to take being teams number one penalty taker but he decided
not to, handing over the ball to his team mate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who later converted from the spot. The Georgia international playmaker was Napoli’s best player on the night as he went ahead to make it 3-1 in favor of the Italians. The game ended 4-2 in favor of Napoli with Osimhen scoring a beautiful solo goal to put the icing on the cake but it was the moment when Osimhen was able overcome greed associated with strikers that really impressed Didier Drogba.
Reacting to a video shared by journalist Drogba wrote “that’s a complete striker: Unselfishness , the real meaning of win as a TEAM!!! Victor Osimhen”. The Nigerian has been one of Napoli’s best players, scoring over 7 League goals to top the Seria A scorer chart.
