Turntable Charts, Nigeria’s leading music data provider, announced Burna Boy as the artist with the most streams on Apple Music, Audiomack, Boomplay, Spotify, and YouTube via their verified Twitter handle on October 5th, 2022.
This comes just a few days after Apple Music unveiled the most recent metric for the performance of Nigerian artists on their platform.
Apple claims that, across all credits, Burna Boy is Nigeria’s most streamed artist on the service.
This is confirmed by the new Turntable Charts publication, which also names Burna Boy as the Nigerian artist with the most streams on other platforms like Boomplay, Audiomack, Spotify, and Youtube.
The music business was most recently a numbers game.Despite the fact that the majority of Burna Boy’s streaming songs are not from Nigeria, the African giant has become Nigeria’s biggest export with this new achievement.
