Brighton’s Potter In Line For Chelsea Job

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are currently looking at Brighton’s Graham Potter as a possible replacement for the departed Thomas Tuchel who was axed in the early hours of Wednesday the 7th of september 2022 following a chain of poor performances. Potter’s Brighton currently sit fourth on the EPL table with 13 points and have started the season well with an impressive run of 4 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. Born on the 20th of May 1975, the 47 year old English manager who describes his teams as “tactically flexible, attacking and possession based” has been permitted to speak with Chelsea concerning a move to the Bridge. Potter isn’t the only name on Chelseas list of possible Tuchel replacements but according to reports he is been considered the priority option for that position for. Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is amongst the four man short list proposed to Boehly. Talks are currently ongoing between Chelsea and Brighton.
