According to football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano AS Roma are currently considering a move for Wilfred Zaha. The Cristal Palace winger has been sensational for the London club and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed.

Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who is currently in charge of the Italian side is a hug fan of the Ivorian winger and is currently opened to the idea of adding the talented forward to his books for next seasons campaign.

No official bid has been made yet as Roma are still pondering on whether or not a move should be made for the Ivorian but the Italian club holds strong interest in the gifted winger. Wilfred Zaha’s move to a much bigger team has  only been a matter of time as the talented Ivorian winger has always expressed his desires to compete at the highest level, few seasons ago a move to one of the premier leagues big six seemed imminent with Chelsea identified as strong suitors for his signature but Crystal palace valuation of the player put any hopes of a move to the bridge on hold with Zaha remaining at the London club since then.

A player of Zaha’s quality certainly deserve a chance at a big team and joining AS Roma should the Italian club make a move for him would be a step in the right direction as AS Roma are considered a much bigger team than Cristal Palace. At Roma Zaha’s chances of winning a silver wear is much higher considering the fact that Roma are the defending champions of the UEFA Europa conference league and are being managed by one of the greatest football managers in the world in Jose Mourinho, so a switch to the Italian club would certainly be a very beneficial one to the young winger who wants to compete at the highest level and improve further as a player. Winning a trophy in almost every team and league he has managed in, Mourinho’s winning mentality should also be a major factor to consider as the well experienced Portuguese gaffer is widely regarded as a serial winner.
