APC Postpones Its PCC Inauguration

On Sunday the 25th of September, the All progressives Congress (APC) announced the postponement of its inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

The inauguration of its PCC for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Party’s 2023 presidential candidate was earlier slated to hold on Monday the 25th, but was postponed to Wednesday the 28th of September.

The postponement was made public by the PCC Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga in a statement on Sunday night.

The event is expected to feature special prayer sessions to mark the commencement of the presidential election campaigns and all nominated to serve in the various directorates are expected to report at the campaign headquarters on the new date in order to participate in the prayers, which would be followed by a peace walk.

All nominees would be issued their letters of appointment on the same day.

Onanuga speaking said, “We know this is a call to serve our great party that will demand total commitment and sacrifice from all of us”.

“It is the council’s strong belief that all members will work hard to deliver a resounding victory for our great party in the 2023 presidential election,” He added.

He concluded by urging the support groups to continue their work and to formally register with the PCC immediately for proper harmonisation.
