According To SDP Spokesman-Lagos Took In Non-Indigenes Obi Chased Out Of Anambra

The SDP spokesperson revealed that Tinubu offered civil service positions to non-indigenous residents of Lagos State.

Alpha Muhammad, the Social Democratic Party’s faction’s National Publicity Secretary, has asserted that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, drove non-indigenous people out of Anambra while he was governor.

Muhammad criticized Obi for the decision, which he claimed was still fresh in Nigerian minds.

In an interview with Saturday Punch, he talked about how the non-indigenous people who were kicked out of Anambra State settled in Lagos State.

Muhammad words: When Peter Obi was busy increasing school fees in Anambra State, Tinubu was busy introducing free education, Anambra were rushing to Lagos to benefit from free education. Every day, you see a truckload of people going to Lagos in buses to benefit from Tinubu’s free education.

“When Peter Obi came, we know what he did to non-indigenes; people who are non-Anambra citizens in Anambra State were sent out of the civil service. Many of them ended up in Lagos.”

Muhammad also acknowledged that the SDP was having discussions about adopting Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the candidate for president from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Muhammad praised Tinubu’s performance as governor, stating that the APC presidential candidate offered opportunities to non-indigenous residents of Lagos State in the civil service and held political offices, and that he is the kind of leader who can bring the nation together.
